About The Program

Take a grand tour through the history, culture, and business of Budapest. Medieval castles, bubbling thermal springs, and underground caves fill the city with distinctive charm. While this program will fit any major, you’ll find strong courses in business, economics, marketing, and political science. Trips to the Carpathian Mountains, a 1,000-year-old Benedictine Abbey, and cultural activities offer an insider’s view of this region. Volunteer projects and elective internships let you connect with the community. The capital’s landmarks can be seen from the Danube Promenade. Savor Hungarian flavors at riverside cafés. Taste wines from 22 regions beneath the Buda Castle.

Where you'll study

Take a path less travelled to Budapest and discover one of Europe's regional powerhouses. Bisected by the Danube, Budapest offers stunning architecture, delicious food, and an active student life. You will take classes at the Corvinus University of Budapest. The university hosts a top-ranked business school in Europe and is internationally recognized in both education and research. Located on the Pest side of the city, the main building, built in a neo-renaissance style, is just one block from the Danube river near the Central Market. Just around the corner is the famous pedestrian street called Váci utca and across the bridge (on the Buda side) is the Gellért Thermal Bath. As an economic hub with many start-ups, Budapest also offers a broad choice of internships if you choose to pursue one. On campus, you’ll have access to the student cafeterias and other university facilities such as the libraries, sports halls, and gyms.
