Housing

Before arrival in Santander, you will receive resources to arrange your own housing. You have the option to stay with local residents in a homestay or in an off-campus dormitory.

Dorm

The dormitories belong to the Universidad Internacional Menéndez Pelayo and you’ll make your housing arrangements with their staff.

Most locals walk or take the bus every day. You can expect about a 30-minute walk to your internship depending on where your housing is located.

Homestay

Homestays are scattered throughout the city. Most rooms include some services like meals, use of the laundry appliances, and Internet. Many hosts speak multiple languages including Spanish and English. You’ll research your options online and communicate with your potential hosts through email and chat. Many homestay hosts have been hosting students and professionals for many years, so they have experience answering most common questions.
