On the student housing website, you can look up private property listings, read roommate profiles and use the message board to find housing. The student housing staff can also help you communicate with landlords, find roommates and advise on which neighborhoods are best for you.


The city is home to over 200 ethnic groups and full of distinct neighborhoods. You can get old-world gelato in Little Italy. Visit hipster and craft beer joints in Mile-Ex. Or, stop by The Village where a cluster of restaurants and bars serve the city’s large LGBT community.

Montreal’s convenient transportation system means you can hop on a metro or bus from any neighborhood and get to campus within an hour or less depending on where you live. There are many neighborhoods within a 30-minute walk or ride on public transportation to campus. If you want to bike to class, you can take advantage of the city’s bicycle sharing system.
