About The Program
The best way to learn a language is to live it. Study Spanish for 5 hours a day. Take a history and culture class that includes field trips and experiences tourists can’t access. Speak like a local in no time. Buenos Aires never sleeps. Walk into a café at 2 am on a Tuesday and find it full of people of all ages. Porteños really know how to enjoy life.
Where you'll study
While Torcuato Di Tella University (UTDT) is young, it has quickly become one of Argentina’s most prestigious private universities. Here, you will learn alongside the next generation of leaders in business, academia, politics and the arts. On the bright, urban campus, everything is modern and eco-friendly. With its green roof terrace, the university is a shining example of sustainability and conservation. In addition, UTDT is an advocate of cultural exchange and hosts a variety of social events for international students. It also offers a buddy system that will help you meet more Argentine students. If you’re up for it, you can even join an intramural sports team, which the International Programs Office highly recommends. The surrounding area is in Belgrano, an attractive residential neighborhood with lavishly designed embassies, lush parks and a busy shopping area famous for Argentinian fashion brands. Steps from campus are plenty of parks for study breaks as well as shops and malls.
