Course Description

Through the explanation of the Zhouyi, students learn the Zhouyi and its philosophical connotation, as well as the status and significance of the Zhouyi in the history of Chinese philosophy, thought, and culture. The course also provides an overview of the latest research related to Zhouyi studies. It also examines and analyzes the philosophy in the "Book of Changes."

Course Description
This course is a cultural quality course for the whole school. It is a course that guides the two classics of Tao Te Ching and The Analects. The interpretation of this lesson is as follows: Putting the Tao Te Ching and The Analects into the historical evolution of the Zhou Dynasty to the Qin and Han Dynasties (also an important stage of development of Chinese traditional culture), each book is regarded as an important part of cultural development. The masterpieces, they believe that they together constitute one organic whole with inner consistent logic. Among them, the Zhou Dynasty established the model of ritual and music civilization. The Tao Te Ching represents the Taoist thinking and profoundly reflected and criticized the ritual and music civilization. On the basis of inheriting the Zhou Dynasty civilization, the Analects absorbed a profound part. The philosophical speculation has carried out a comprehensive inheritance and creative reconstruction of the Chinese civilization. The Tao Te Ching and The Analects represent the two most important traditions of Chinese culture: Taoism and Confucianism.
