Transform your creative process by making art in a new cultural landscape. Work in Parisian studios while drawing inspiration from iconic galleries and Impressionist light. In Italy, develop your technique with traditional materials like marble and fresco while surrounded by Renaissance masterpieces. In Hong Kong, create in contemporary studio spaces where urban culture influences visual expression, from mixed media to digital installations. Sharpen your technical skills and deepen your artistic practice through studio work, museum visits, artist collaborations, and your own evolving portfolio.

It was significantly challenging to conduct research in a foreign country. I now feel a great sense of accomplishment and empowerment. I improved my French language skills and my confidence. I'm now inspired to apply to a graduate program and further art research.

Matilda Krulder UC Santa Cruz Art France

I've become more confident in and developed a fondness for visual storytelling during my time abroad. I truly thrive in a creative role; whether making videos or simply being surrounded by art. I recognized my desire to pursue a career that embraces art, creativity, and connection. I used to deny this about myself, telling myself I wanted a future in a more "practical" field. Now, I can see myself producing programs or working in a national museum in Japan, where I have personal roots.
