This was my first time working in a Spanish-speaking environment, and needless to say, I had some difficult times while also learning many things. I am grateful that I was pushed in this area of communication because it not only allowed me to advance my Spanish skills but it also reminded me that many times in my professional development there may be a language or accent barrier that is a challenge to overcome.
