Working at Boston Scientific was the culmination of all my academic coursework.

It allowed me to exercise my academic coursework in an applicable way that connects to industry practices. It stressed the importance of future classes that I will take such as polymer chemistry, as well as gave me direction and incite on possible directions for my final design project. This internship gave me the opportunity to see the range of different bioengineering specialties that exist within the medical device industry.

Working through my initial challenges was the catalyst that landed me a return offer and position at the company, and I am grateful to have had the capacity to work through them in a healthy manner. I grew exponentially during my internship and mentally and emotionally became a stronger individual. I had an incredible experience at Boston Scientific and am excited to continue to develop my career at the company.
