If you’re excited about studying abroad but aren’t sure how to get started, this session offers an introduction to UCEAP. With 40 countries and over 160 programs to choose from, we will discuss the benefits of participating on UCEAP, important topics to consider as you narrow down your study abroad options, as well as the resources we offer to help you select the best program to fit your needs.

Academic Planning: Courses and Credits Abroad

Studying abroad can be a transformative experience, but effective academic planning is crucial to make the most of your journey. This presentation guides you through the essentials of academic planning for study abroad programs. We explore how to select courses that align with your academic and career goals, navigate the credit transfer process, and leverage resources and support systems available to you.

Workshop: A Beginner's Guide to UCEAP

October 15 | 2 pm

This interactive application workshop will help you think through all the preparation necessary to study abroad. In addition to program selection and goal setting, this workshop will cover academic planning; finances, budgeting, and scholarships; cultural awareness and identity; and the application process timeline.

Money Matters: How to Afford Studying Abroad

October 15 | 3 pm

This presentation will cover various affordable program options and financial resources available to support your dream of studying abroad.  We will cover how you can bring your financial aid abroad with you as well as how to apply for scholarships to offset the cost of your program. 

Drop-In Study Abroad Advising

October 15 | 4 pm

Join us for a walk-through of the UCEAP application process and requirements. This presentation will cover when and how to complete your UCEAP application, as well as who to contact for specific program questions.
