This program has given me the opportunity to broaden my mind in a way that could only be achieved by living abroad. Both these courses and my time spent in Germany has reinforced my intention of attending a graduate school in Germany. I feel I have a good understanding of the culture in Germany, the language, and the education system. Additionally, I have gained new perspectives from being amongst the locals in Berlin and all the international students in my program. These new understandings I will bring back towards my home university--UC Santa Cruz and apply towards my classes and new relationships I may find. I will be forever grateful for my time spent abroad and yearn to go back to explore the intrigue Berlin has left me with
