Just returned from what arguably felt like the fastest 6 weeks of my life spent in Maastricht, The Netherlands. Funny I deliberately chose the shortest program I could find and ended up feeling like it wasn’t long enough! Academically, I learned to do all my homework, including the reading, and to participate in class. Our classes followed problem-based learning, which meant the classes depended on each student doing the reading prior so that we could participate in the discussions. Initially, the idea of speaking in class was jarring to me, but I learned that the class may benefit from what I share, just as I do with what my classmates share.
