On a personal level, the immersion into Korean work culture, architecture, and life broadened my perspective, improved my adaptability, and enhanced my communication skills. As I walked through the Korean palaces wearing traditional Hanbok and practiced watercoloring Korean Hanok villages, I learned more about my half-Korean heritage while connecting to my architecture interests. Overall, through my internship with the Architecture and Built Environment lab in Korea, I gained valuable insight into the transformative capacity of computer analysis to reimagine architectural visualization, synthesizing the magic of design computing with my personal, fulfilling experience of being in Seoul, Korea. I hope to continue exploring the untapped potential of AI architecture to advance precedents in design towards increased sustainability, understanding, and innovation through the rest of college and in my architectural career.
