The Californian Abroad helps prepare University of California students for amazing study abroad experiences with lasting benefits through original, informative, and compelling content.
Each year, UCEAP holds a blog writing contest and invites students who have participated in study abroad to enter their stories and photography for a chance to win prizes.
Core Eligibility Requirements
All UC students and alumni in good standing who participated in a UCEAP program in the past two years are eligible to enter.
Only complete submissions are eligible for the competition. A submission is considered complete if it includes all required submission materials listed in the current contest’s guidelines. See the previous year's submission guidelines as an example.
Submissions from students or alumni who didn't participate in a UCEAP program or were disciplined for an ethics or conduct violation aren't eligible for the competition.
