That night I worked on an essay and went to bed a little too late, according to the typical Roman schedule. I don’t know how they do it. But in Rome, it does not matter. Nothing is ever that upsetting or stressful. Because I am in Rome! Every morning I am just excited for what the day has to offer– the beautiful cobble stone streets that sit on top of centuries of ancient history that I will walk on, all of the 1 euro cappucinos I will drink, all of the leopard print clothing I will browse (but not buy) in the Roberto Cavalli store (my favorite Italian designer). I love it here. Ciao for now.
