My semester in Singapore ended in tears, but they fell over a large smile of joy. All the rich experiences, filled with so many feelings, made my body tingle. I felt more alive and present than I had in a really long time. As I write this and think back on what I lived, I am so grateful. I hope this letter reaches someone with a desire inside but is yet to take it out and pursue it. I hope this reaches anyone who is scared of leaving home and friends behind, who might think they will be missing out on internships and career opportunities. In my humble experience, all of that is valid, but real-life experiences are the most important and life-altering. They push you towards growth and success, and the rest comes naturally.
