I feel that I also gained real-world experience and personal growth beyond my professional growth; I feel more confident in my abilities and the application of those skills. I also feel more adult, having finally experienced a corporate job and seeing how others work and communicate with each other. I also feel that I have a better understanding of what I want out of my future career as a result of my work at UN House. I also feel that my network has grown as a result of this opportunity. I cannot say enough good things about the people I worked with, including both the interns from the UCEAP program and those at UN House; they were dedicated, open, compassionate, and intelligent. It was genuinely a joy to go to meetings with the feeling that not only would my ideas be heard, but that I was able to impact the conversation for the better.
