big skill that I learned through my internship was adaptability. I did my internship in a country that I had never been to and knew very little about. I began my internship only days after moving across the country and I had to learn the slang and common work practices quickly in order to assimilate. Although my position was hybrid, I mostly worked remotely and needed to learn how to effectively communicate over teleconferencing and instant messaging. I can apply this skill in any situation that I encounter moving forward. This is an important skill to possess because there is always something new to learn and new experiences to be lived. The key to success is how you react to these changes. I learned how to adapt quickly and keep an open mind to learning new things in order to be successful.
