Domestic UC Opportunities

California Ecology and Conservation is a seven-week field program that brings UC students together for intensive scientific training at NRS reserves. Students complete a series of research projects, learn field techniques, and present findings in oral, poster, and written formats. They hone research, public speaking, and scientific writing skills while gaining familiarity with California's ecosystems. 

The UCDC Internship Experience connects students from all majors with dynamic internships and coursework that align with their passions. In Washington, DC you'll gain firsthand exposure to the political process while developing critical skills in research, advocacy, and decision-making. This experience will equip you with the skills and connections needed to thrive in your career. 

UCCS is the University of California’s teaching, research and public-service site located one block from the State Capitol Building. Operated by UC Davis, UCCS offers a distinctive academic program in public policy to students from throughout the university’s 10-campus system. The program provides students with an opportunity to study through seminars and internships in and around the state Capitol.
