Leaving home for half a year was exciting and nerve-racking, but I knew I made the right choice when I arrived in Sweden. My home for the next five months was in a small town south of Sweden called Lund. It was a charming city of cobblestoned streets occupied by bikes and dog walkers. The town consisted of small businesses, mostly made up of coffee shops to provide for the well-known needs of Fika, a break time consisting of coffee and traditional Swedish pastries, which became my favorite time of the day.
