As mentioned before, this internship showed me that I was capable of learning challenging tools and technologies on my own. It taught me how to be resourceful and how to effectively identify and solve problems in my code. I also learned that not everyone has the same experiences when it comes to building software, and that taking a step back to help other people is necessary for effective collaboration.
Overall, though I struggled at times, this gave me the opportunity to learn about a technology I had always been too afraid to learn on my own. I now feel as if I have enough foundation to do more projects related to 3D visualizations and games, and it has also made me interested in topics adjacent to some of the work I had been doing, like 3D modeling. It has also motivated me to keep up with trends related to Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality, and continuous developments in the 3D applications space.
