This course focuses on fundamental vocabulary and grammatical structures used in everyday communication, while also introducing students to basic elements of Thai culture.

This course focuses on the psychology of emotional well-being as well as strategies on how the study of emotion can be applied to different domains of life. It discusses various concepts related to emotional well-being from different psychological perspectives, developing a deeper understanding of the positive and negative emotions experienced by human beings and analyze their causes and effects on well-being. It explores the various models of emotion and critically analyzes their merits and limitations, as well as their practical application. It explores various classic theories such as Basic Emotion Theory, Social Constructivist Theory, Cognitive Appraisal Theory, and the RULER Model of Emotion Intelligence.

This course covers concepts in community health, primary health care, and the health system. It discusses the development of health manpower and identification and visualization of health disparities that exist in the community. Practical sessions in local hospitals and field trips as well as independent research and a group project are included.

This course introduces the composition and structure of microbial cells, the biochemical activities associated with cellular metabolism and how these activities are regulated and coordinated. The course has a molecular and genetic approach to the study of microbial physiology. Prerequisite General Microbiology.

This course introduces fundamental methods and techniques for analyzing both biotic interactions and abiotic conditions in diverse marine ecosystems. Through a combination of laboratory work and field studies, students gain hands-on experience in experimental design, data collection, and analysis. Topics include measurement of abiotic factors, assessment of species interactions and community structure, evaluation of biodiversity and similarity indices, and investigation of behavioral and ecological patterns. The course also explores the effects of human activities on marine environments and examines strategies for ecosystem restoration, rehabilitation, and conservation.
