COURSE DETAIL
This course aims to help students learn Japanese for academic purposes through various familiar topics about society and culture. The target level is CEFR B1.1.
The course requires students to complete various tasks using Japanese, so they can acquire the language skills necessary to perform the tasks and also increase their knowledge of Japanese language (vocabulary, grammar patterns and expressions, Kanji).
The course includes an elective component, "Expand your World in Japanese."
COURSE DETAIL
This course is designed for learners at the introductory level of Japanese to learn Japanese characters, pronunciation, basic vocabulary, and expressions, so that they can develop basic communication skills that can be used in daily life.

This course uses Japanese anime, such as Fragrant Flowers Bloom Dignified to improve Japanese conversation skills and help students understand Japanese culture.
The course cultivates intermediate and advanced grammar skills such as plain expressions, possible expressions, passive expressions, and ministry expressions, and helps to improve overall Japanese language skills such as conversation and listening skills through watching Japanese animation and scripts. It is designed to be used as a supplementary and confirmatory learning for students with intermediate or higher Japanese language skills.
Although it is not required, it is recommended to take courses such as Japanese 1, Japanese 2, and Japanese RC1, which are basic Japanese language subjects.
COURSE DETAIL
This course is a continuation of JAP302G Japanese Language I, II, and III. It mainly focuses on going over grammar of the elementary level.
