Course Description
This course provides an insight into British theatre of all kinds. It exposes students to the theater of Shakespeare, Pinter, and beyond. Students visit Theatres (choices may include The Globe, National, Royal Court, Regional, and Fringe Theatres), go backstage, and write critiques of plays seen; research presentations on actors, directors, designers, and playwrights; and have a chance to meet and talk to those currently active in theatre.
