Housing
You have the option to live in a dorm, private apartment, or homestay. Tailor your experience to match your independence, budget, and social style.
Dorm
The dorms are conveniently located on campus near facilities such as the library, cafeteria, and athletic fields. The complexes or floors may be coed or separated by gender and most rooms are double occupancy. You will have access to a shared kitchen, washing machines, study room, and lounge area.
ICU is unable to provide university housing for all exchange students who submit an application. Placement in a dorm is not guaranteed and you may need to make your own housing arrangements. Spring housing is more competitive, as it marks the beginning of the Japanese academic year. ICU offers resources and support to find off-campus housing if you are unable to secure a space in the dorms.
