Housing
In Brisbane, you have the freedom to choose housing that best suits your needs. Housing options include apartments or dorms on campus, or privately arranged off-campus rentals and housing. Most of the recent UCEAP students have lived in shared houses off campus. Some have stayed in university apartments, which are convenient and close to campus. University housing is included with the admission results from the university. Before departure, you’ll arrange housing with the help of the campus housing service.
Apartment
In addition to apartments, about half of all exchange students opt to live in share houses surrounding the university. Similar to a shared apartment, a share house is an independent living space where you may share bathrooms or kitchens, for example. This is a common living arrangement for young working professionals in Australia.
