About The Program

If a full immersion experience in Latin America with centralized services for US students sounds like your kind of jam, this is the program for you. Ideal for students who want a future working across international borders, Tec de Monterrey offers courses in English as well as Spanish. Students with strong Spanish language skills can choose from the widest variety of courses, while non-Spanish speakers can enroll in courses offered in English and take Spanish language classes in an environment where they can put their new skills to use immediately. Classes taught in English are primarily in business with additional offerings in engineering, humanities, and political science. Experience Mexican culture, traditions, and cuisine firsthand as you improve your Spanish language skills.

WHERE YOU'LL STUDY

Tecnológico de Monterrey (Tec de Monterrey) is a leading private university in Mexico with strong academic programs in business, engineering, and technology. The main campus, located in Monterrey in the northern state of Nuevo León, spans 138 acres and includes research centers, an award-winning library, sports facilities, and more than a dozen residence halls. The campus draws a large number of international students, creating a diverse learning environment. Monterrey itself is the third-largest city in Mexico and a major business hub — home to 10 of the 20 most important Mexican firms. Known as "La Ciudad de las Montañas" (City of the Mountains), the city sits in a dramatic landscape framed by the Sierra Madre Oriental. Beyond its business identity, Monterrey offers a lively cultural scene, a range of outdoor activities in the surrounding mountains, and a reputation as one of the safer large cities in Mexico.
