Students on this program are housed in a homestay with a Russian-speaking Kazakh family. The local program staff will arrange housing for you before you arrive based on your preferences.
Homestay
Homestays are located throughout Almaty and your Kazakh host will have experience hosting exchange students. Communicating in Russian at home with your hosts will refine your language skills and help you integrate more quickly into the local culture. The homestay provides an essential cultural component to your experience.
