This course introduces students to the complex area of youth crime, the contemporary forces that shape youth justice policy, and the ways in which the criminal justice system has responded to it.

It addresses the growing demand for future managers to develop cross-cultural skills and competencies that are essential for improving performance in a globalized economy.

This course applies microeconomic reasoning to the study of the public sector. It surveys the scope and different modes of public intervention in the economy, with particular emphasis on the welfare state and income redistribution. It discusses the provision and financing of public and private goods and the design of tax systems.

This course covers the general principles of private international law, conflict of laws and private cases with international elements. The main contents are in civil and commercial matters, including those concerning procedural aspects, based on the Thai legal system.

The course helps students from diverse backgrounds to understand modern China and its historical roots. Focusing on topical aspects of China's past and history, this course provides a bird's-eye view of China's modern transformations. Topics include political regimes, industrialization, economic structures, languages, urban development, rural society, family and population, environmental protection, and climate change. Through a variety of textual and visual learning materials, students acquire the basic conceptual and comparative tools to appreciate the rise of China within historical and global contexts.

The course covers topics of current interest in astrophysics and cosmology. Students independently search for relevant publications, learn to give comprehendible lectures, write a clear and comprehensive essay, and gain a deep understanding of a subject of their own choice within astrophysics.

In this course, students explore the process of manufacture, i.e. the creation of components or products from basic raw materials. They also consider the effectiveness of process selection, material selection, and process economies. Additionally, students learn techniques used in Computer Aided Design and Manufacture. This is undertaken through both industry-based CAD/CAM exercises and an introduction to the technologies involved in the research and development of CAD/CAM systems.

The course studies fashion through the perspective of circular economy to evaluate different definitions and practices of sustainability in the field. Topics include an in-depth look at sustainable materials, scrutiny of production and distribution models, evaluation of sustainable business practices, sustainable design strategies, and the influential role of consumers in fostering sustainable styles and lifestyles.

This course introduces students to the key concepts that social anthropologists use in social analysis. It provides introductions to the principal areas of anthropological enquiry, placing kinship, economics, religion, and political life in a cross-cultural comparative context. Bringing these perspectives together, students consider how anthropology shines light on the interconnected nature of life in contemporary global societies.
