Course Description
This course begins with an introduction to marketing research, its process, and studies' classification. Students learn different exploratory, descriptive and causal research techniques, and learn about fieldwork and data preparation. Other topics included are: univariate, bivariate and multivariate hypotheses testing, multivariate positioning analysis with SPSS, and multivariate segmentation analysis. Other/required coursework: students are expected to have completed the following courses prior to this one: Marketing, Statistics I and Statistics II.

Course Description
This course uses economic models and data-analysis techniques to study the demand and supply of education. It analyzes the role of education in economic development, the effects and reasons for the role of the public sector in education, and answers to the key questions about current education policies. Other topics include: education policy, theoretical foundations and proper methodology for estimating demand and supply models, the main results and limitations of existing empirical research and evidence, the production and quality of education, and the financing of compulsory and higher education. Previous coursework in microeconomics, macroeconomics, and applied economics is required.

Course Description
This course offers an overview of the history and politics of political regimes. It is divided into three sections: political regimes in the history of humanity; current political regimes; dynamics of political regimes. The first part discusses historical regimes from clans and tribes of antiquity through perestroika in the U.S.S.R. in the 1980s and 90s. The second part delves into types of current political regimes including parliamentary systems, presidential systems, monarchy, and military dictatorships. The third part explores the issues and changes that occur in political regimes including legitimacy, natural resources, transitions to democracy, and revolutionary processes.

This course offers a survey and critical analysis of the foundational texts in sociology. It discusses the most influential sociologists in the 19th and 20th centuries, in a way that emphasizes those conceptual and analytical contributions that remain relevant today.
