Course Description
This course provides an introduction of fluid mechanics including mass conservation law, momentum conservation law, and energy conservation law. Other topics include: the continuum hypothesis; variables of interest; hydrostatics; fluid flow kinematics; conservation equations for fluid volumes and control volumes; dimensional analysis; flow regimes; external flows. *Pre-requisites: Calculus 1 and 2, Physics 1 and 2, Linear Algebra, Writing and Communication Skills, Programming, Thermal Engineering, and Machine Mechanics.
