This is the second in a sequence of four Catalan language courses intended for Spanish speakers. It further develops basic reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills in Catalan, with emphasis on vocabulary and verb tenses and other grammatical structures.

This course provides a study of the historical development of world cinema, from its origins to the mid-twentieth century. It also discusses the social, economic and cultural context of productions, as well as important figures and developments in the industry.

This course provides a study of the problem of economic growth as a long-term or long-term problem, the tensions and conflicts that economic growth generates, as well as the possibilities and problems of measuring economic growth. Themes vary by semester and instructor.

This class fosters awareness of cultural, political and commercial norms of Asian Pacific countries with a heavy emphasis on Japan and China. This class also provides a general overview of how other international actors such as the United States influence the relationship between Mexico and the Asian Pacific states.

This course explores the history and operation of international financial markets, international investment, and the international monetary system. It traces the development of global financial systems from the gold standard through Bretton Woods, and trends in the current economic and financial globalization. Other topics include public and private credit and debt; currency exchange and balance of payments; different markets and investment theory; and analysis and administration of risk.

This course provides an epistemological and methodological analysis of the foundations of the main traditions of contemporary thought in psychology, based on the basic principles of scientific knowledge. Topics are divided into three sections: psychology and science; psychological paradigms and their foundations in philosophy; subject and knowledge.

This course focuses on techniques for digital drawing and the utilization of computer aided design tools for industrial design. It covers the use of AutoCAD, SketchBook, Rhino, and Fusion 360.

This course examines the theoretical framework of social movements in the contemporary city and the concept of belonging of social subjects. It provides an analysis of ethnic and urban conflict in Mexico and Latin America based on disputes over natural, territorial and rights-related resources. The course also looks at the processes of migration and forced displacement in urban and rural contexts to understand the sociocultural construction of social subjects, as well as qualitative methods in scientific research and their application in the characterization of subjects, analysis on belonging, and appropriation of territory.

This course provides a study of the theoretical foundations of addictive behavior and early detection and intervention techniques to modify behaviors of abuse and dependence on alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs.

This course focuses on techniques of illustration in a variety of different media. The classes cover model painting studies, still life ink sketches, and life drawings.
