This course takes life science knowledge as the carrier, historical development process as the vertical line, and philosophical ideas as the horizontal line, integrating scientific, ideological and historical nature. From a historical perspective, the essence of life, the origin and development of life are explored, and the overall views of people on the fundamental issues of life at all stages of the history of life science are summarized; Review the historical process of the occurrence, development and evolution of the basic concepts of life science; Trace the ideological origin, formation process, scientific and philosophical significance of life science theory; Understand the working methods and thinking methods used or reflected in the research process of life science; Reflect on the origin, value and relationship with society and ethics of life science; Especially highlight the life achievements, successful experience, failure lessons, philosophical views and methodological ideas of famous life scientists. Learning the history of life science can enable students to follow the path of scientists exploring the life world, understand the nature of science and the methods of scientific research as a whole, and learn the spirit of scientists’ dedication to science and courage to innovate. This is of great significance to improve students’ scientific and humanistic literacy.

Introduce the concept, main types and basic methods of mathematical models through cases, so that students can master the thought and method of mathematical modeling initially.This course is also a basic course for students to participate in the mathematical contest in modeling.

Using cases as clues, this course introduces the basic principles and methods of building mathematical models, covering the fields of energy, communication, economy, ecology, aviation and aerospace.The main mathematical methods include elementary mathematics, elementary geometry, calculus, linear algebra, operations research, elementary number theory, graph theory, differential equations, etc.

The course builds effective communication strategies for the various complex situations that are encountered upon entering the business world, with a focus on both written and oral communication.

This is a basic Japanese course. No prior Japanese language study is required. The course content includes lessons 1 through 16 of (New) standard Japanese.

This course provides overview of financial markets and the structure of financial markets. It covers the various operating mechanisms of financial markets, the pricing method of financial assets, the interrelationship of major financial variables, and the behavior of various subjects by means of basic theory, knowledge, and skills of the market economy.

This course provides a study of the basic characteristics of Chinese religions including etiquette, architecture, art, music, clothing, incense, worship and other methods. It examines China's religious issues, while integrating Chinese culture and beliefs. It also looks at religious research, covering field research theory, survey, judgment, comparison, and literature reviews.

This course provides a study of Chinese historical celebrities, including representative politicians, ideologists, strategists, scientists, focusing on their careers and profound influence on future generations. The course uses celebrities in Chinese history and abstracts of works related to celebrities as teaching materials, including: Confucius and THE ANALECTS, Laozi and TAO DE JING, Sun Tzu and THE ART OF WAR OF SUN TZU, Qin Shi Huang and THE BOOK OF QIN SHI HUANG, Sima Qian and BAO REN AN SHU, Zhuge Liang and SHI SHI BIAO, Xu Guangqi and NONG ZHENG QUAN SHU, Sun Yat-sen and PUBLICATION OF MIN BAO.

The course covers the ideological tradition of Western Marxism, its development process, ideological characteristics, theoretical contributions, and practical significance. Students read the classic works of Western Marxism, their problem awareness, their argumentation ideas, and their theoretical characteristics.

This course examines the norms and methods of writing administrative documents. The course is divided into 6 modules: (1) the connotation of administrative document writing; (2) the theme and material of administrative document; (3) the format and structure of administrative document; (4) the applicable language and rhetoric of administrative document; (5) the administrative document rules and procedures; (6) various types of administrative document writing. 

This course examines the culture and philosophy of traditional Chinese medicine. It covers the development of Chinese medicine from the social, cultural, ideological and technological perspectives, including the safety of Chinese medicine, modernization of Traditional Chinese medicine, and internationalization. Topics include its origin and culture, historical evolution and development, modern development and humanistic background, strategy of modernization and internationalization, and basic concepts of Chinese medicinal base plants, classification, preparation, Taodi herbs, etc.
