This course explores the fundamental aspects of the theory and practice of scenery perspective. Topics include: application of perspective in the theater scene-- linear, aerial, and cavalier perspective; perspectives of a stage from its plan and elevation; visual perception and aspects of form-- scale, visual lines, and appraisal; architecture and scenography; perspective as stage language.

This course offers a basic introduction to the field of law. Topics include: the law and its functions; sources of law; legal norms; interpretation and application of the law; the legal resolution of conflicts; learning about the law and the legal professions.

This course analyzes slavery and racism in Chile and Latin America from historical and contemporary perspectives. Topics include: memory and slavery; racism and hopelessness; anti-racist, afro-descendant feminism; abolition in Chile; gradual abolition in the River Plate region; racialized citizenships; strategies for freedom in times of abolition--the U.S.-Mexico border; lawsuits and manumission; the enslaved body, work, and health.
