Course Description
This intensive intermediate Spanish course aims to improve the oral and writing skills of students who have already acquired an introduction to essential grammar and vocabulary, while further introducing them to Spanish culture and society. The objectives of the course include the communication of personal experiences from the past future; the expression of prohibition, obligation, and opinion; the presentation of arguments, debates, and recommendations or advice; the ability to convey messages between individuals; discuss future events and express cause and consequence. Assessment for the course is based on class participation and daily workbook exercises, weekly quizzes and compositions, a mid-term exam, and a final exam.
