Housing

The program offers three options - a homestay with a Dominican family, a shared apartment, or an independent studio/private room in a shared apartment. All housing options are located in neighborhoods with convenient access to the CIEE center and PUCMM campus, and residential areas close to restaurants and shops. You will select your housing preference during the predeparture process.

Homestay

You will stay in a single-family house, apartment, or condominium within walking distance of the university. Typical of the Dominican people, your hosts will be friendly and welcoming. Most have been hosting students for many years and enjoy sharing meals, playing dominoes, talking sports, and listening to merengue music with their guests.
