About The Program

Singapore uses ingenuity and engineering to create a cityscape reflecting the future. With entrepreneurship, management, and design thinking, this program offers engineering majors inspiration inside and outside the classroom. The Singapore University of Technology and Design’s (SUTD) interdisciplinary approach reflects real-world problems needing cross-discipline solutions. For those interested in the humanities, SUTD looks at the role of society in scientific innovations. Discover Singapore’s diversity in its ethnic communities, cultural festivals, and restaurant scene. Framed by sleek architecture, vast green spaces bring nature into the city and beckon you out of the lab.

Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) promotes a culture of diverse research for international students, and the Entrepreneurship Centre fosters an innovative entrepreneurship atmosphere. SUTD has over 50 start-ups—40 of which were started by SUTD students. Sleek, modern buildings interconnect classrooms, labs, study spaces, and the library. Equipped with whiteboards and smart devices, discussion spaces around the campus provide ideal meeting areas for group-based projects. Creating a landscape of the old and the new, antique Chinese buildings—including a pavilion and opera stage—overlook the eco-lake.
