Housing
All housing is prearranged by staff in Madrid before departure. You have the option to live in an apartment or in a homestay with a Spanish family. For a more immersive experience where you can practice the local language, consider a homestay option.
Apartment
The apartments are double occupancy with a shared bathroom and access to shared living spaces including a kitchen.

Commute
The apartments are located in different neighborhoods of Madrid (such as Chamberi, Moncloa, or Sol) and are about a 20-30 minute commute via metro to classes.
Homestay
Homestays consist of a rented room in a house or apartment. Depending on your host, you may or may not be included in daily activities. Some homestay families will host a second student (UC or international) but it’s rare. Keep in mind that your homestay host may speak varying levels of English (including little to no English).

Commute
Homestays are located throughout Madrid and are typically 30–45 minutes by bus or metro from classes. You may also be placed in housing close enough to walk to class.
