About The Program
Develop your engineering research skills while studying in one of Mexico's leading centers for technology and innovation. This summer program is designed for students who want hands-on research experience while strengthening their Spanish in an immersive setting. Work alongside faculty in Tec de Monterrey's School of Engineering, where research spans engineering and technology disciplines and takes place in modern teaching laboratories and research spaces. Research is conducted in English, allowing you to focus on developing technical skills while building confidence communicating in Spanish through language coursework and daily life. Beyond the laboratory, you'll gain experience working across cultures while exploring one of Latin America's major industrial and technology hubs. WHERE YOU'LL STUDY
Tecnológico de Monterrey (Tec de Monterrey) is a leading private university in Mexico with strong academic programs in business, engineering, and technology. The main campus, located in Monterrey in the northern state of Nuevo León, spans 138 acres and includes research centers, an award-winning library, sports facilities, and more than a dozen residence halls. The campus draws a large number of international students, creating a diverse learning environment.
