Housing

Although housing around Fudan University is limited, you will have help securing either a dorm or apartment in Shanghai. Before departure, the UCEAP study center in Shanghai explains your housing options and how to reserve them. For instance, you may reserve a dorm online or, if you prefer an apartment, the study center can reserve a living space based on your preferences. Students who have passports solely from the following: Hong Kong, Macau, the People's Republic of China, or Taiwan cannot live in the dormitories at Fudan University, but you can live in an off-campus apartment.

Apartment

If you live in an apartment, it will be in one of two student apartments on Handan Road. The apartment options range from private lofts to larger units with one or more roommates. Each building has a gym and communal kitchens, making it easy to catch a workout or meal without traveling off site.

Each building has security measures in place as well, including a 24-hour reception desk requiring ID cards to enter.
