Housing

In London, you will stay in a local apartment arranged by the program coordinator. In Paris, you will be housed in a single room in a shared student apartment. Exact location of housing will not be provided until your arrival overseas.

Shared Room Shared Apartment - London

London apartments are centrally located and you’ll share the space with one or two other UC students. Your flat will have a fully furnished living room and kitchen, as well as bathroom facilities. Rooms are small and have very minimal storage space. 

Kitchens include a refrigerator, microwave, stovetop, dishes, cutlery, and basic cooking utensils. Towels, sheets, pillows, and blankets are provided. Laundry facilities are located in each apartment or within the apartment complex. All apartments have internet access.

An average commute from apartment to classes is less than 30 minutes by public transportation (bus).

 

Single Room Shared Apartment - Paris

You will live in a single occupancy room in a shared apartment. Common areas, including the kitchen and bathroom, are shared with other program participants. Exact location of housing will not be provided until the program arrival day.

Each apartment is fully furnished and your bedroom will include a bed, desk, closet, and storage space. Linens and towels are provided. Kitchen facilities include a small stove-top, refrigerator, dishes, and basic cooking utensils. All apartments have internet access.

Apartment rooms do not include air conditioning and the building does not have elevators. Students should keep in mind that living standards in Europe may be different from those you may be accustomed to, and apartments are often smaller (especially toilets and showers) and and older than what you may have expected.
