About The Program
Minutes from the sparkling seafront, Sussex is quintessentially English, with spectacular castles, greenery, and attractions fit for royals. Whatever your major, this summer program delivers a full English university experience. Courses span a range of disciplines, from creative writing to medical practice. Pre-med and life sciences majors can earn up to a year of physics credit in two months! Outside of class, see the monoliths of Stonehenge, visit Harry Potter Studios, or tour a moated castle built for an English knight. You can also hike the white-chalk cliffs of the Seven Sisters or get your Shakespeare on in London's theater district just an hour away.

Come to Sussex to experience one of the most exciting campuses in the UK, with distinguished faculty, well-equipped labs, and an excellent library. Known for its political and social awareness, the University of Sussex is a leading research university in the United Kingdom, and boasts one of the most beautiful campuses in Britain. Sussex has a wide range of specialist lab facilities where you can participate in and actively drive research in any subject. The future technologies lab offers the facilities for computing, robotics, electronics, and mechatronics research. The Keep holds collections like the papers of Leonard and Virginia Woolf. Media, film, and journalism students can make use of the green screen, video cameras, and sound recording equipment in their own studio and editing suites. Law students have access to a special mooting room to simulate trials and prepare for competitions. Just an hour outside of London, the campus is surrounded by rolling green English countryside near the city of Brighton. Locally known as London by the Sea, Brighton offers a vibrant nightlife, arts festivals, al fresco lifestyle, and great shops.
