Housing
You have the option to live in a dorm, apartment, or homestay. If you choose an apartment or homestay, you will need to research and arrange housing on your own prior to your arrival.
Dorm
You will live in one of three dorms for international students, all conveniently located within walking distance of the main campus in downtown Tokyo. Most have a private bathroom with shared shower facilities, and access to a common area and shared kitchen. Residential hall life is very important to Japanese students who view their hall as their social community. Events and athletic competitions between dorms is common.
Waseda University is experiencing a housing shortage and is unable to provide university housing for all exchange students. Placement in a dorm is not guaranteed and you may need to make your own housing arrangements.
