This course provides a study of the development of urban architecture and environmental landscape, as well as the evaluation of world-famous architectural landscape. It covers the development process and notable achievements of the aesthetic creation of architecture and environmental landscape, both in ancient and modern China and around the world. The course provides an analysis of the architectural ideas, theories, and techniques of each historical period, including the types, features, styles, forms, structural features, artistic features, and their evolution. Other topics include architectural communication culture, integration of architectural culture and art, and architectural features as well as the religious, cultural, social and technological factors that have shaped these architectural features.

The aim of Intensive Chinese Reading is to improve the students' reading and writing skills by learning vocabulary and grammar.

Basic Class: Mainly for students with zero Chinese ability, or at the stage of learning Pinyin, common Chinese characters and simple Chinese words and sentences.
 

This course explores the generation strategy and development laws of different types of radio and television programs. It covers the characteristics, planning, production process, and operation mode of different program types, as well as the relationship with market mechanism, audience needs, and the social and cultural environment.

This is a beginning course on Korean language for students with no background. It provides basic language knowledge and basic language skills; the ability to accurately and fluently pronounce and master basic accent; familiarity with letters to spell sentences quickly and accurately; 500 commonly used words, most commonly used suffixes and sentence patterns in Korean; andeveryday language and classroom language, and have basic Korean communication skills.

Based on the changes of computer technology and the role of humans on products in the market. The course focuses on studying the experience of using a product. This course targets a chosen topic, and through three steps of procedural design practices, students understand multiple design methods while developing creative thinking. This course focuses on how to: construct daily issues that the political system faces, design all kinds of possible solutions, evaluate and choose from the most feasible, efficient, and effective solution; to establish the environment with multiple unions and pave the way for rationalizing policies; to interpret, organize, and apply the abstract policies into concrete actions; to evaluate the ultimate production of the policies, and the potential impacts on the relevant facets of the political system,; and to make necessary policy changes to make space for the lasting survival of policy layout. Through this course, students will learn the most basic Chinese culture through Calligraphy. Topics include the changes of Yin and Yang balance, more and less, deficiency and reality, and calligraphy and painting homology.

The course examines the concepts and theories of computer vision and introduces their application. The course entails research on the algorithm and computing architecture and completion of a software simulation. The course covers: image formation; image processing; feature detection and matching; segmentation; feature-based alignment; structure from motion; dense motion estimation; computational photography; stereo correspondence; 3D reconstruction; and recognition.

This course provides an introduction to elementary movement analysis theory and concepts. Through basic movement training (floor exercises) developed from the six foundations of human behavior, students build their ability to control or improve their body movements while learning from their peers.  Through video appreciation, students enhance their creative ability and practical experience of modern dance.

Through the combination of theoretical teaching and gathering and writing practice, this course combines news gathering and writing skills.
