This course explores users as humans who are changing/expanding in the AI era, exploring the limitations of recent AI services, and then designing user-centered AI services. Students learn methods to understand users, and then define user interfaces and their interaction. Prototyping techniques and evaluation methods are also provided. Service design is carried out at the level of expressing ideas, not at the level of actual driving.
In particular, this class is conducted with a focus on practice rather than lecture-style delivery, and coaching for each process customized for each team is carried out through close interviews and discussions. In addition, the course benchmarks related services in depth from the perspective of actual business to identify limitations and opportunity points and carry out a process to turn them into deliverable results. There are no special technical/technical prerequisites required for this course, however, students must be proactive and enthusiastic about participating.

This course surveys and introduces topics vital to understanding our planet.
The Earth is composed of four major systems, such as geosphere, hydrosphere, atmosphere and biosphere, which govern the surface processes and internal dynamics of the Earth. This course explores Earth processes of crustal evolution, environmental changes, and biotic successions since its formation as a planet.

This course covers the technical foundations of photography and the unique aesthetic experiences it offers, incorporating aspects of photographic philosophy, media aesthetics, and the use of AI generators in various projects. Topics also include innovative photo projects utilizing AI generators and keeping pace with evolving media trends. Through this exploration, students examine the linguistic value and role of photography across fields such as research and business.

This course theoretically examines the macroscopic role that entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship play in the market economy and examines management theories about individual and organizational-level phenomena that affect entrepreneurship, for example via management case studies. The scope of this class is not a simple livelihood-type entrepreneurship, but opportunity-capturing entrepreneurship that creates new market value. This course covers concepts and characteristics required to build and operate a smart factory to improve manufacturing competitiveness. Students first learn about the composition and functions of the 4th Industrial Revolution and smart factories, then examine the general concept of factory automation and learn about the basic components of factory automation such as control systems and PLCs. The course covers functions of corporate information systems such as ERP, MES, APS, and PLM, and concepts of smart factory digital platforms and big data-based decision-making required for intelligent factory operation.

This course covers the application of management science methodology to various decision-making problems in the agricultural and food industry, models them mathematically, and derives optimal strategies. The course enables students to actually apply and discuss management science methodology to corporate cases related to the agricultural and food industry. Specifically, in this course, students acquire theoretical models for linear programming, network models, integer programming, nonlinear programming, multi-objective decision-making, decision-making under uncertainty, simulation, and queueing, and learn how to analyze them. In addition, it enables students to apply management science methodology to topics such as agricultural cultivation, food distribution and supply chain, and agricultural and food production planning, and derive and interpret results.

This course cultivates entrepreneurship through understanding the current status and trends of the semiconductor industry and the experiences of company founders. In the class, students meet representatives of recently established semiconductor companies, hear about the startup motivation, business model, and future prospects, and share understanding of the overall semiconductor industry and various experiences related to technology-based startups through a Q&A session with the semiconductor CEO.

This course covers Social Psychology, which is the scientific study of behavior and cognition in social situations and the examination of causation factors. Hence, the course psychologically explores major social phenomena in contemporary society, and reviews relevant studies on psychological undertones of such phenomena.
The course examines human characteristics in the context of Social Psychology in order to understand contemporary social issues. Topics include the influence of others, relations with others, evaluation of others and social phenomenon, social phenomenon happening in social groups, and more. Students will gain an enhanced understanding of themselves, others, and society at large by exploring how social phenomena, social issues, and daily experiences can be interpreted through theories of social psychology. The course goal is to increase understanding of how people perceive others and the social environments around them, how people respond to these social stimuli, and how they are affected by these factors.

This course focuses on the food industry and studies the success and failure cases of marketing and information management in fields such as agriculture, food service, bio industry, and distribution industry, and discusses how to apply them for the development of our food industry. Through case analysis, students will acquire various practical knowledge on how business activities in these industries are developed from the perspective of marketing and information management, and how to solve problems using methods and frameworks. Students who successfully complete this course will have basic skills as management consultants in the field of food and bio business.
