The course provides a foundational understanding of psychological principles applied to physical activity and sport. It explores key topics such as personality, motivation, emotion, attention, group dynamics, and mental health, with a focus on their impact on athletic performance.  It discusses the role of the sports psychologist, behavioral assessment techniques, and innovative approaches like neuromotricity to enhance performance. The course also addresses psychological intervention, coaching, and program design for diverse populations, from elite athletes to individuals with special needs.

The course introduces modern web application development from an engineering perspective, emphasizing model-driven design and best practices. Students learn to model data and hypertext, apply client- and server-side technologies, and implement systems using the Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture. Topics include testing, security, deployment, and SEO. Through practical projects, students develop the skills to design, build, and document professional web solutions.

Prior experience with programming knowledge, web technologies, and software engineering fundamentals is recommended.

The course offers a study of 20th century United States literature. Topics include: Americans in Europe; literary responses to WWI; the Lost Generation and the Jazz Age; literary responses to the Great Depression; trends in American Drama; literary impact of the Civil Rights Movement; postmodernism; multiculturalism and the emergence of new voices.

The course develops linguistic and educational skills for teaching English language and literature in early childhood settings. It focuses on key theories of early language learning and the tools to create engaging, age-appropriate, and inclusive learning experiences.

This course examines the material remains of medieval and post-medieval societies through archaeological evidence, focusing on how these vestiges contribute to our understanding of historical processes. It emphasizes the management, conservation, and communication of post-classical heritage and explores archaeology’s role in current historical debates.

This course examines the technological properties and behavior models of concrete, steel rebars and steel tendons, both individually and globally, to resist mechanical and chemical actions. Students learn to understand and apply the European standard (EUROCODE 2, EN-1992) for the design and construction of reinforced and prestressed concrete structures. Additional topics include the different structural analysis methods for concrete structures according to European standard, competence in the project, design construction and maintenance of reinforced concrete structures of moderate complexity, and the behavior and design of statically determinate prestressed concrete members with pre-tensioned tendons, and of the materials and construction systems involved. This course requires students to have prerequisites and background knowledge.

Students practice managing real-world software projects that need to adapt quickly to change, while keeping the team focused on delivering value to users.  This course offers hands-on experience with agile tools, frameworks, and programming environments that support fast, flexible, and iterative development. 

Students are expected to have prior experience with software design, development, and testing.

This foundational course offers an introduction to the origins, development, and current profile of the Social Work profession. It examines the evolution of social assistance, the influence of historical and cultural contexts, and the emergence of Social Work as a discipline in both global and Spanish settings. This course explores key theories, ideological frameworks, and ethical principles that guide professional practice today.

The course offers theoretical and practical training in sea-based physical activities such as kayaking, surfing, windsurfing, and rowing. Students develop fundamental technical skills, learn to apply safety and emergency protocols, and understand the environmental and historical context of each sport. Emphasis is placed on designing educational programs, analyzing performance, and acquiring the competencies required for careers in physical education, sports training, recreation, and health.

The course provides theoretical and practical training in the informal or colloquial register of Spanish. While written texts are considered, the primary focus is on spoken conversation as the core form of colloquial language. This course applies theoretical concepts to real-life language samples for hands-on analysis.
