This class in an introductory course to Geographic Information Systems (GIS), which constitute one of the most powerful modern technologies for the study of territorial, socioeconomic and environmental processes and problems from a spatial point of view. GIS allow geographic and cartographic work to be carried out in an efficient way, from the data entry, its management and analysis, until the generation of results, allowing the user (planner, businessman, researcher, teacher and student) to spend a substantial part of the time in analysis, synthesis and management of the projects, overcoming limitations traditional methods of manual information processing.  In practice, geographic information systems are much more than a technological tool, since they are made up of components such as hardware, software, users, information, methods and techniques, which enable the comprehensive management of projects, regardless of the territorial and organizational level. This course provides the student with the methodological foundations and techniques for the management and analysis of spatially referenced information, emphasizing practical work, using hardware resources, software and procedures of geographic information systems.

This course identifies contracts as a field of study of law and obligations. The course analyzes the different international organisms that enter international contract treaties. It distinguishes the practical study and identifies the types of international contracts with the greatest impact on private relationships and international business.

This course engages students in the exploration of political rights, the legal framework governing political parties, and electoral processes in Mexico. Through the analysis of rulings by the Supreme Court and the Electoral Tribunal, students gain both institutional and jurisdictional perspectives on elections. Throughout the semester, students are encouraged to observe the U.S. electoral process, engage in a post-US election debate, and delve into related topics such as party politics, electoral systems, and the analysis of U.S. presidential elections.
 

This course offers a study of the place that Latin America and the Caribbean occupies in international dynamics, its geopolitical and geostrategic position, the importance of its natural resources, the processes of interventionism by the U.S.A., among other mechanisms of integration and international relations.
 

This course offers a study of basic linguistic and communicative skills in the indigenous language, Purepecha, for listening, speaking, reading, and writing comprehension.

This course provides a theoretical-conceptual framework of the role of organized civil society, feminisms and their relationship, work and strategies in addressing the phenomenon of gendered violence with the goal of ensuring women's right to a life free from violence. 

This course examines the fundamental elements to distinguish the cultural biography of Mexican archaeology, its history, evolution, and relationship with the modern world through nationalism and the construction of collective imagination, popular stereotypes, and representations in tourism.

This course offers a study of the theories and methods of human geography based on review of the main works and authors in contemporary geographical thought.
