Course Description
This course introduces students to a diverse range of art forms utilizing digital media and new technologies including: screen-based artworks; digital media installation and performance; digital video/film; participatory media and remix culture; online and networked art; interactive art works; and interdisciplinary art/science/technology projects. Students explore the changing aesthetic, cultural, and technical dimensions of new digital technologies, and develop the critical and analytical tools with which to discuss and evaluate digital art works and the ways that audiences interact with them.

Course Description
This course introduces students to the techniques of printmaking through various forms of engraving and etching. Students typically use Plexiglas and linoleum plaques, but they are also welcome to try out other materials, such as fabric, aluminum, paper, as well as copper and zinc plates. Focus is placed on the effects of different materials, plaques, colors, engraving methods, ink-applying approaches, and printing techniques on the final product. Students are required to submit a final portfolio of works that they have printed during the course of the semester and evaluation is based primarily on experimentation and daily progress.

Course Description
Fusion refers to the merging or melting of different materials into one. Working across jewellery and ceramics, this course considers this concept also in relationship to the construction of an object from multiple parts. In this sense the artist becomes alchemist, scientist, or musician, mixing, constructing and blending to create a new object. By experimenting with processes of molding, you explore notions of multiplicity, the original, the copy and the archetype. This course addresses the development of conceptual, formal and aesthetic approaches in making.

Course Description
This course reviews current technologies on digital fabrication and explores emerging technologies for design and data integration, management, and exchange. Design and construction industries are undergoing dramatic changes, based on evolving technologies such as BIM, Web, Mobile IT and production technologies such as 3d printing. It provides a review of the field from the earliest days of CAD, through the current period using object-relational databases such as ISO-STEP technologies. The course does not make assumptions regarding student's background in detailed information technology per se, but does assume background in design applications, and some knowledge of computing software in order to digitally and physically fabricate actual products. The course explores various applications and hardware for digital fabrication, as well as reviewing current industry issues. Each student is asked to play significant roles in individual project works and final project collaborations, using at least some of followings: Grasshopper, Dynamo, Revit, BIM, Parametric Design, 3d Printing, Robot Arm, Arduino, Computer Programming such as Java, Phython, Processing, etc. Assessment: Midterm Project and/or Exam (20%), Final Project and/or Exam (20%), Assignments (20%), Attendance (20%), Class Participation (20%)

Course Description
The course is long standing trope within art history and has become, in more recent years, a device or visual and intellectual metaphor that has informed contemporary art practice, particularly painting and sculpture. This research and practice based course involves the study of historical and contemporary model making in both artistic and wider spheres, and the ways and means, both technical and intellectual, of evolving strategies in the proposition and construction of models as individual responses to the world. Students explore model making as a form of representation, of instruction, as pragmatic proposition (maquette), or as an articulation of the impossible. Students build on their understanding of existing phenomena and generate creative and analytical responses to the idea of the model.

In this course students work hands-on with silk screen to create original prints. This course allows for a combination of media such as Photoshop, design, and drawing to be used in making work. Course Description
This course uses notable historical and contemporary case studies from art schools as the basis for a series of workshops and seminars.
