Course Description

The course is part of the LM degree program and is intended for advanced level students. Enrollment is by consent of the instructor. This course studies the legal foundations of the European System of Central Banks (ESCB) and the ECB mandate of monetary policy also in comparison with the Federal Reserve system and central banking in other relevant jurisdictions. Conventional and unconventional monetary policy instruments are considered in depth, also in light of relevant CJEU case law. Macroprudential supervision, lending of last resort and remits over financial stability are discussed in all their institutional and legal implications.

Course Description
This course begins with an introduction to marketing research, its process, and studies' classification. Students learn different exploratory, descriptive and causal research techniques, and learn about fieldwork and data preparation. Other topics included are: univariate, bivariate and multivariate hypotheses testing, multivariate positioning analysis with SPSS, and multivariate segmentation analysis. Other/required coursework: students are expected to have completed the following courses prior to this one: Marketing, Statistics I and Statistics II.

Course Description

Operations and Production are the resources and the processes, respectively, by which an organization transforms inputs (e.g., labor, material, and knowledge) into outputs (products and/or services). Operations/production managers are responsible for designing, running, and improving the related systems to efficiently deliver on the production/service goals.
