Chinese Traditional Archery is a traditional Chinese archery sport. It was developed from archery, one of the six traditional arts, and developed into a tool for cultivating temperament in the Western Zhou Dynasty. The archer uses a traditional Chinese bow to shoot arrows at the target following a specific procedure and movement. The posture, etiquette, heart and cultivation necessary in archery can exercise the archer's body and mind.

This course teaches the fundamentals of archery form (stance, set, setup, drawing, full draw, aiming, release, and follow-through), learning the movements, mental control, and sighting techniques necessary to hit the center of the target. Initially, the class will shoot arrows at close range, focusing on proper form, while gradually increasing the distance as the class becomes more comfortable. By the end of the course, the class will engage in competitive match-style shooting at a distance of approximately 15 meters.
COURSE DETAIL
This physical activity course covers physical strength and the importance of physical training in modern society. Students create a physical training program suitable for themselves and cultivate the basic capacity by following the program, training each part of the body. Training and lectures will be provided so that students can apply scientific principles and exercise prescriptions for building up stamina. The course also focuses on understanding the effect of physical strength.
