Housing

UCEAP arranges homestays for your time in both Santiago and Villarrica. During the final week of the program, housing moves to an ecological reserve where you will live in close quarters with the entire program group.

First Two Weeks - Santiago Homestay

During the first two weeks in Santiago, you’ll be in a private room in a home or apartment. Homestay hosts have experience hosting students and many have been hosting students from California for years. Placements are typically in the neighborhoods of Providencia or Ñuñoa which feature boldly Italian-influenced buildings and lovely parks. Most students enjoy their homestays and give their hosts high ratings.
